Empowerment Therapy

Dear Colleague and Related Professionals:

I am writing on behalf of Brian J Hubbard, LICSW, DCSW, who is a clinical social worker in Newport and has served the Newport County region for the past twenty years. Mr. Hubbard is specializing in counseling cancer patients and- their families as well as patients with other chronic illnesses, partly as a result of the impact of his own cancer that he has survived.

I know Mr. Hubbard very well as an outstanding individual in the community and as a

exceptionally well qualified professional, and without a doubt do know that he can serve such patients well, not only cancer patients but patients with chronic illness and disability as well.

He worked with one of my patients with severe case of colon and river cancer and the results were most impressive, helping this patient to cope to the maximum extent possible and making my work a lot easier.

I strongly urge you to refer such patients who can benefit from psychosocial counseling for better coping with their illnesses to Mr. Hubbard. In fact, he is nationally recognized for outstanding professional, work, having written a book on the subject. I have reviewed his book From Emptiness to Empowerment and found it to be excellent. His services are acceptable for insurance coverage and he has a very convenient location.
