I first met Brian Hubbard in 1966 when he joined a fraternity that I was in
at the
Over the past few summers a group my fraternity brothers and I have been having informal reunions at my home. One member of the group recently had some communications with Brian, and I thought it might be interesting to invite Brian to the reunion. I invited Brian to join us for the weekend, and it was a decision that had an impact on me and on our entire group - none of whom had seen Brian in more than 30 years.
Brian is now totally blind and 90% deaf but was able to communicate with a large and sometimes boisterous group of men and women better than most of us who can hear and see. Whether talking one-on-one or to an entire group over dinner, Brian is one of the best motivational speakers I have ever heard. He speaks with a unique optimism about overcoming his degenerating sight and hearing and various other personal problems in order to reach various goals that he set for himself during his life. As an active member of the legal and financial community, I believe that Brian's experiences and values are
relevant to individuals who are competing in the financial marketplace, and he communicates his values in a manner that requires his audience to sit up and listen. I would strongly encourage any group seeking a motivational speaker to place Brian's name at the top of their list.
