I have personally seen Mr. Hubbard provide speaking performances in front of live audiences on several occasions. One memorable occasion was the first time he spoke to an audience of about three hundred. Brian had the audience totally captivated. It was a presentation given at a Testimonial/Fundraiser on his behalf in 1985, as a member of the U.S. Disabled Ski Team and was the very first pacesetter in the NASTAR program for the disability category.
Brian's speech, without benefit of notes, had the audiences’ undivided attention to such a degree that one could have heard a pin drop in the usually noisy Hibernian Hall. His ability to speak directly from his heart while using sound judgment to captivate the audiences’ full attention was very evident.
Furthermore, he was able to engage the audience, which was evident in the manner he thanked not only Committee members, but most importantly, the entire audience for supporting such a wonderful cause.
I also witnessed his reception speech when he was inducted into the Lynn English High School (Lynn,MA) Hall of Fame. Again, his performance was incredible, engaging the entire audience and having their full attention. He also demonstrated his wonderful sense of humor as well.
It is without reservation that I proffer this recommendation of Mr. Hubbard. I cannot speak highly enough of his ability as a speaker and recommend him to the highest degree.
